The 17th annual Da Capo Meeting is coming before long!
The Da Capo Convention is an all-day workshop of professional growth opportunities for pre-provider and current audio educators, which is structured every year by the Brandon College University student New music Educators Affiliation. This year’s convention will be held on January 21, 2023 at the Brandon College School of Songs.

“We are so thrilled to be bringing Da Capo again to the BU University of New music immediately after two years of on the net conferences,” explained BUSMEA President Abby Petersen.
BUSMEA (Brandon College Student Songs Educators Association) is an group created up of audio instruction learners serving music training college students. Their purpose is to supply specialist development prospects to our users by means of workshops and other relevant events.

Doell acquired his Bachelor of Tunes and Bachelor of Education from Brandon College, and has been pretty active as a guest conductor and adjudicator. He has executed the WESMAN Honour Band, Louis Riel Honour Band, Central Honour Band, Parkland Honour Band, St. James Band Camp, Springfield Band Camp and the Pembina Trails Honour Band. He has also executed the Manitoba Junior and Intermediate Honour Bands.
Along with adjudicating the Saskatoon Audio Competition, Morden and Altona Festivals, the Manitoba Starting Band festival for the last 10 decades, the Moose Jaw Pageant and the Swan River Pageant, Doell has executed at the Worldwide Music Camp and served as divisional Songs Expert for 10 yrs.
He has presented a lot of moments at Tempo, at Da Capo, for the Manitoba Schooling Study Network, the Manitoba Association of College Trustees, as effectively as the School of New music at each the College of Brandon and College of Manitoba and is a receiver of the Brandon College Distinguished Teacher Award.
At this time, Doell works in Sunrise School Division as the principal of Springfield Collegiate.
Other verified presenters incorporate Brandon University professors Dr. Ken Gold, and Dr. Wendy Zander McCallum. Community Brandon tunes educators Janelle Wilts, Melissa Spraggs, and Erin Dodds will also be presenting, as very well as the President of the Manitoba Orff Affiliation, Dawn Muir.
